Giving Back

When I first opened my Wall Art shop on Shopify it was in the early days of the Covid19 pandemic. I am immunocompromised and I really had to hunker down and avoid exposure. Friends and family became sick, hospitals filled up and so many businesses, including my favorite restaurants, were struggling to keep employees on the payroll. I wanted to do something to help. I couldn’t physically be on the frontline, but maybe there was something I could do to help the many frontline workers who were keeping us fed, healthy and safe.

I discovered a non-profit organization called Frontline Foods that was working with José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen, an organization I have admired since their first work in Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010. In 2020, our first 6 months in business, we donated all of our profits to Frontline Foods via World Central Kitchen, for a total of $4,500.

In 2022 we continue to contribute, and are donating 2% of our wall art sales to World Central Kitchen to support their important work of feeding people in times of crisis.

So when you purchase my wall art, know that in addition to adding something beautiful to your home or office, you are also helping to feed people around the world who are being assisted by World Central Kitchen.
